Thwaites, the UK’s market leading dumper manufacturer, has appointed Ernest Doe as their new distributor for Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. The arrangement brings back together two companies which had a successful trading partnership in the past.
Ian Brown, Sales Director Thwaites said, “In selecting a long-term partner to work with; Ernest Doe ticks all the boxesin terms of territory coverage, financial stability and a desire to increase market penetration. Thwaites and Ernest Doe have been established for many years and both remain under family ownership, these factors provide customers with the stability needed in uncertain economic times.”
Graham Parker, Sales Director from Ernest Doe visited Thwaites along with the sales and after-sales team. All were impressed with the Thwaites manufacturing facility and the high quality product that is produced.
Graham said, “Thwaites are a manufacturer in the truest sense of the word and their engineering skills and quality are plain to see. We are all looking forward to developing our partnership with this British manufacturer of long standing. Thwaites products will sit happily alongside the machines from the other manufacturers we represent such as Hyundai, New Holland Construction and Manitou. They will enable us to offer a complete package of equipment to end users as well as being able to provide after sales and service support from our branches in East Anglia.”
In addition to the service support provided by Ernest Doe, Thwaites Allparts division ensures that 95% of parts for their product range are available from stock in order to keep downtime minimised. Thwaites specialises in dumper design and manufacture and has a range of machines from one tonne through to 10 tonne capacity.
